Objectives

To provide an in-depth action-oriented and Afrocentric study and analysis of the problems of political and social stability, security and public safety and provide a forum for the discussion and exchange of Afrocentric ideas knowledge, expertise and experience through seminars, workshops, conferences, roundtables and study groups of African and Afro-Descendant scholars, security experts, policy makers and implementors;

To publish annual Surveys, reports books, monographs, occasional papers, newsletters and such other publications that will support the aims and objectives of PANAFSTRAG, inform and share policy and decision makers and enlighten the general public;

To create the bridge, bond and the Political, Social and Economic linkages between Africans and Afro-Descendants for sharing good practices in community security, social issues and economic self-reliance through small and medium scale enterprises (smes) using indigenous knowledge, science, technology and innovations.

To undertake research and related activities on the issues above with partners such as the UN, the African Union, the Regional economic organisations, business organisations, international organisations, industries and specialized agencies with interests in Africa and the Diaspora, science, technology and innovation interactions concretising into intra-African Trade for global African economic self-reliance;

To promote through research action-oriented and Afrocentric policies for conflict prevention and innovation with institutional reforms for political stability and economic self-reliance at all level for the benefits of Africans and Afro-Descendants Communities.

HISTORY AND CULTURE

Promoting African History and Culture as Foundation for our Development

Teaching Diaspora History and Culture in Africa and African History and Culture in the Diaspora as a bond between our peoples.

Do a study on Slavery and Slave Trade –Trans-Saharan and Red Sea in filling the gaps in African History and Culture

Global Africanism– The Second Wave Forum of Global African Parliamentarians

Global African Youths Charting the Present and Future

Global African CSOs and Communities spearheading the Second Wave.

CULTURE

Colloquium with Festival of Oral History, Indigenous Music, Drums, Wind Instruments, Folksongs and Spirituals, Folktales, Fashion and Hairdos of Africa and Diaspora at Regional, Continental and the Diaspora cities.

RELIGION

Bringing the African Indigenous Religious Study to Academic parity with Christianity, Islam etc in collaboration with the School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh and the African Association for the Study of Religion in Africa.

STABILITY AND SECURITY

Nexus between Small Arms, Drugs Trafficking, Money Laundering, Violent Crimes and Terrorism

Women in Human Security according to UNSCR 1325 and 1820.

Security and Safety Policy and Architecture with National, Regional and Continental Institutions and Agencies for Constitutional and Legal Reforms and Practices in order to enhance safety and security in the Continent.
