NEW MEMBERS FOR PANAFSTRAG INTERNATIONAL BOARD

2010-2015

We want to start the process of re-constituting the Board of PANAFSTRAG-International.

Please find below the conditions for membership of the Board.

PANAFSTRAG wants PanAfricanists from Global Africa to serve on its Board.

The Board is the symbol of the organisation of members with the ambition of having in each Sub-Sahara African country and in countries where there are African Descendants, a chapter incorporated under the local laws.

Each chapter with its own Executive Committee will be part of an International Confederation led by this Board.

Chapters, members and interested persons can recommend individuals who 

a.      Have distinguished themselves in Careers in Diplomacy, Legal, Security Services, Business, Financial, Civil Society and other non-Religious Professions.

b.      Are ready to contribute intellectually and financially to the national and international bodies

c.       Are known for integrity and service

d.      Are ready to cover total costs of one Board Retreat, one Board Meeting and represent the organisation in one international activity per year

e.      Can provide direction and leadership for programme strategy, projects and activities

The Board membership is built on balance of gender, age geographical area and official languages spoken in Africa and Diaspora i.e. English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Dutch. Bilingualism with English as primary or secondary is an advantage.

As members of PANAFSTRAG, we have all decided to take up the important challenges that Africa and Africans including those of African descent face.

We have decided to prove that:
